The Cambridgeshire 1841 Census Index has been made available to aid selection of the microfiche containing the full 1841 census transcriptions available from the bookstall. The following points are relevant to successful searching 1) enter at least twoletters of the start of the surname 2) use the first initial character or characters of the forename only as there are many abbreviations 3) enter a town or parish to cut down the amount of entries returned.
This database was last updated: 14th June 2002 - 169,873 records - Fields marked * are mandatory
A maximum of 250 records will be returned from any search but the number available is shown.
